Meehan’s Miniatures is an owned and operated business started by Hugh and Martha Meehan in 1976. Our state-licensed Maryland nursery specializes in bonsai and rare plant materials. We are located under the shadow of South Mountain in Rohrersville, Maryland.

The Central Maryland location is about an hour from either DC or Baltimore and makes for a great day trip.

We propagate and grow 75% of our nursery stock onsite and, as such, offer a wide variety of finished bonsai, starters and other unique plant materials. Our vast array of species and cultivars are perfect for collectors, growers, hobbyists and beginners. Meehan’s has a plant or five to meet every customer’s distinctive needs and desires.

Over the years we have devised a care guide that is easy to understand and comes with every purchase to help our customers enjoy and care for their new plants.
